24th April 2008 - Dave Westall
It is with much sadness I have to inform you that former Epping Cricket Club member Dave Westall has sadly passed away after a motor cycle accident. Dave had followed in his father's and uncle's footsteps in playing for the Club and had come up the ranks from being a colt to playing in our Saturday 1st XI. Our thoughts are with his family and close friends at this tragic and sad time.

Dave's Funeral will he held on the 2nd May 2008 at Parndon Crematorium. The ceremony is to commence at 11.30am. It would be very nice if as many members as possible could be in attendance.

This is also the day we will be playing a macth against the German National Team and it is hoped that after the funeral service as many members will return to the Club to play or watch the match as it would have been one that Dave would have loved to have played in and a fitting way for the Club to remember him.

 18th Octoberber 2007 -
Dan Sly has asked if all our members, their famileis and friends could collect the Tesco's Vouchers for Schools & Clubs.
The Club has been regestered for this scheme and it works in just the same way as the computer for schools scheme in that you shop at Tesco's and for every £10 you spend they give you 1 voucher. We collect the vouchers and get new sports equipment for the Club.
So get spending and Dan will be collecting the vouchers during the winter and hopefully by next season we will have brand new equipmnet to use.
