Match report Epping lost their leagie cup encounter with Old Brents after failing to post a decent total batting first on a soaringly hot April day.
Only Geoff Maynard (32) and Dan Twitchett, Dan Twitchett (21) and Leigh Ginn (13no) got going but when the middle order went Epping's tail was blowan away with 3 ducks.
Old Brents bludgeoned there way to victory but there was some excellent bowling from Ben Marks (3 for 34) and Dave Stokoe (1 for 31) as Eppin restored some pride. Old Brents got home with 4 wickets down but Epping spilled several chances off the excellent spin off Marc Webb (8 overs for 22 runs)and if those had been taken the end story could have been different.
