Epping Cricket Club Sunday 1st XI v West Essex on Sun 16 Jul 2006 at 2.00
Epping Cricket Club Won 60 runs

Match report Reverend Sibley's barmy Sunday army rampaged to a convincing win at the home of cricket.
The 60-run win over visitors West Essex was hatched in a tea plot which involved fattening up the oppo with some super pies from the Sibley factory.
While the oppo batsmen struggled to hold back on the sarnies, Epping kept their weapon of mass destruction lean and mean away from the tea table.
Fattened up with a plentiful supply of pies from girliefriend Laura after amassing only 1 run earlier in the proceedings, the 'man' known as Dan DT Taylor was on fire after agreeing to observe a 30-minute fast at tea.
Expert skipper Revd Sibbers then asked the young pregnant gazelle to play his masterstroke and perform an unseemly stumble and belly flop as he chased a West Essex missile to the boundary.
The tactic worked as the West Essex boys believed they were on to an easy winner playing a bunch of eejuts and let down their shackles.
Seasoned pro Jon Everett was back to his steaming best sending down a couple of snorters to get among the wickets - not bad for an 80-year-old.
While DT managed the sightscreen at one end, Matt Wiggle Arse Barrett was catching everything in the gully/mid wicket area.
The Barrett one capped a fine weekend in which he took two catches, scored less than 10 in 2 knocks and bowled a dodgy over to lead the celebrations upon the taking of a wicket by never-say-die-despite-being-smited-on-the-odd-occasion Graham Prezza.
As Barrett lay spreadeagled waiting for attention, wicket-taker Prezza G was happy to provide it...er you can stop now lads, er lads no you can really stop we are not having that at this club!!
Minutes later DT applied the finishing touch with a five-star belly flop to finish off the Wiggle Bottom.
Anyway back to the throbbing masculinity of the cricket match....
Super Eddie Holden proved to be the star performer with the ball, sending down a series of spinning bombs to reap 3 for 43 and pip steaming Jon Everett (3 for 26 with a few assorted pies) to the Epping CC star performer on the day man of the match award. the Edster also swiped 30-odd with the bat to edge DT out of the match contribution reckoning.
On the batting front the Epping clergy were out in mass with Dean Sly notching 51 before retiring for afternoon prayer and Archbishop Sibley smiting 30-odd before sitting down for a period of rest and reflection. we thank you for your efforts brothers.
Father Sibley has now surpassed the zillion runs on Sunday mark for the season with an average of 372.444444444444, narrowly beating his saturday average of 0.444444444444444.
There were also welcome runs from Tatoo Westall with 38 and old man Maynard, who registered a career best 24.
All in all a delight of a game sort of with yet another win for the Epping boys.
G. "gravy" thorpe was fined for his absence.
