Match report Old Brentwoods won the toss and decided to bat on a good track but with a wet outfield.
Old Brentwoods managed to get runs on a wet outfield but were denied at least five or six boundries due to the wet conditions, they finished on 153 all out with the pick of our bowling coming from Holden with 15overs 3m 40 for 3 and new boy Khan chipping in with 13 overs 4m 32 for 3. These two were well supported by messers Lycett Preston and Kayani.
Epping set about the chase with a new opening partnership of Sanderson and young Merritt but this didn't last long with Sanderson being bowled via a deflection off his back foot.
Merritt was then joined by Offord and the pair of them pushed the score along to 56 before Merritt was caught for 37, Simon Oliver came to the crease and with some sensible batting moved the score along to 95 before Offord was stumped for 30.
Young Twitchett came in next and edged his second ball to slip and departed on 0 with four wickets down Epping started to wobble and when Oliver went 2 runs later, caught, some doubt started to creep in.
However with Kayani and Khan at the crease the total was eventually reached with Kayani not out on 29 and Khan not out for 25 with both hitting a big 6 apiece in their innings.
