Match report Epping won the toss and put Ongar into bat and Ongar got off to a good start with 52 being put on for the loss of their first wicket. However this seemed to start the wheels falling off the wagon and another three quick wickets followed for the addition of just 2 runs putting the score at 54 for 4. Ongar were dismissed for just 88 runs with the pick of the bowling from Terry Preston with 11overs 4m 5wkts for just 14 runs.
After tea Epping set about the task of getting the required runs but when opener Merritt went first ball for 0 a early wake up call registered. This proved to be the only hiccup of the day as Dan Twitchett (38) and Jacob Ellis (39) easily got the runs required in only 12.2 overs.
