Epping Cricket Club Lost By 7 Wickets

Match report On what was a cold and dark day Epping set to the task of trying to beat a good and well organised Buckhurst hill team. Epping having been put in were in need of a good start, however with Tony 'the rock' Sanderson being bowled by a very good ball Epping were up against it. This really set the tone for what was to come with both Offords and Beavers coming up short against Baig. For a while Epping showed some resistance through Jim Twitchett and Andy Clapton who got Epping up to 100. Unfortunatly the partnership was ended and not even the heroics of Attar and Piller could get Epping to a respectable total, with Epping slumping to a miserable total of 122.

Epping bowlers tried to get some respect back bowling good lines with good pace, though with such a low total the game was hard to claw back. Eppiing did manage to pick up one point from the game wiith Jim managing to weedle out Bottomley with a good catch from Beavers.

However after the win against Southend it was back to reality with bang as Buckhurst Hill won by 7 wickets.
